Yesterday I was complaining that there was no sign of monsoon yet, today there was the answer. The sky was all cloudy today, It drizzled in the morning and now in the evening as I am posting this its raining… 🙂
Lens : Samyam FE 8mm F2.8
Camera : NEX-3, ISO-200, 1/80, f/8, raw
Raw Therapee and NEX-3 RAW file offer amazing highlight recovery possibilities. In the jpeg from camera the sky completly blown out. Pure white.
The Highlight reconstruction and highlight recovery options of RawTherapee 4.0.10 are simple amazing.
Lens : A combination of SEL1855 and Minolta MC Rokkor 58mm F1.4.
Camera : NEX-3, ISO-400, F/8/, 1/60, jpeg
A combination of SEL1855 and MC Rokkor 58mm reversed. SEL1855 was mounted to camera and the reversed MC rokkor hand held.
This combination gave an amazing magnification but the image circle was very less with very high vignetting.
Once again a macro shot of spidey found in our garden. I think its time to move from the Macro stuff that I was doing almost exclusively last week. With monsoon expected to arrive by 28th May I hope to get some rain shots in coming days.
